A solo journey · East & Southeast Asia

TheEastern Arc

September 2026 to May 2027. A year measured not in miles, but in the person I become along the way.

This is a year that I give as a gift to myself. Of walking away from the noise, the expectations, the weight of caring for everyone but me.

12 countries. 229 days.
I will learn to surf, to dive, to sleep in monasteries, to eat alone and love it.
I will see whales breach and cherry blossoms fall.
I will come back different. Or I won't come back at all.

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
So I will not trace the footsteps of the wise, but seek what they sought. after Lao Tzu & Bashō
